Kaile and I spent a week with a friend and her little boy. Much of our time was spent relaxing with occasional walks on the beach. Weather was perfect for the week part. But by the time the boys got there that weekend, then weather turned colder and rainy. Kaile had a lot of fun with baby K. She especially liked all his toys!
As the picture above makes it look like it was a nice hot summer day... it was warm out but the water was FREEZING! And yes, that is Kaile in the water! She was soaked from waist down and could care less that she was freezing!
First night there, we made spaghetti. As you can see he throughly loved it!
Bath time's together
The kids loving each other. I think Kaile was laying on the floor and he just laid on her and she hugged him back! So Cute!
Sporting a Moe Hawk!
My dad's, now lifted, Golf Cart. We take this everywhere! Makes trips over to the beach a lot easier. And makes trips to the nearby park a lot more fun!
Watch out CrAzY driver!

The boys playing
One afternoon, Kaile was sent to time out in our room. Bryan went in to check on her after being so quiet. Then this is what I found after Bryan didn't return!
Stopped at the beach one more time before we pulled out. As you can see in the earlier picture we were in shorts and t-shirts and playing in the water. Now these pictures we are in pants and coats! It was doing a drizzly rain so we didn't stay long. The beach area had a HUGE drop off where the water was taking the sand out. Hope that is 'fixed' before summer. It was extremely annoying to have to jump down about 3ft and then to climb back up it to leave.
Bryan spotted an area that looked like a potty??? So we added some black sand to make it look like Kaile had used the bathroom!
Kaile passed out on the way home. She was worn out from the trip.
And then the next morning at home we woke up to SNOW! So we started off the week sweating in shorts and t-shirts to end the week completely bundled up with a dusting of snow! Again, I'm glad March is over!
This is looking out the windshield of my car.

What a crazy week of weather! NC is definitely a menopausal state. Glad you guys had fun! :)
